Right, let me give you some background information on me for starters…
I am a Scottish born, English writer living in New Zealand!
I write stories for children, it’s what I love to do, and while I certainly do love kids and they do enjoy my stories, I really write them because they make me laugh!
I have read a few books and articles and taken a couple of courses and workshops on writing for children, and while I am not an expert in the field by any means, I can give you some benefit from my research.

For the past 15 years I have been coaching unemployed people to become creative and hence find rewarding work. Feeling burned out, I quit and for the past little while have been turning my own advice on myself. This has proved a more daunting task than I have ever imagined. However, by accident (if there is such a thing) I happened on your site and with the urging from my grown-up girls to write children’s stories, I thought this would be a good place to get the coaching/advice/confidence I need to get started.
